Head in a clean spot

This post features a performer you can find out there in the world! Follow miss_c_balloonologist on instagram or check out their website.

Recently, when a performance has generated too many photos I'm attached to. It's been a convenient opportunity for a longer post. This performance was hilarious. In a sea of unicyclists and crusty jugglers, a "balloonologist" stood out.

Mime is not a flattering art, particularly not when you capture stills. On reflection most of this act was tremendously unflattering - but hopefully I've chosen somewhat favourably. Next was a variation on sword-swallowing - I'll share this precursor and you can probably imagine, the main-event really doesn't translate.

However the main event, involved a balloon of another size...

I captured so many stills of "a person in a clean frame"! Who knew balloons were useful photography props?

But the finale was something much more bizarre. Something more akin to escapology? It's amazing how a performer can still play a crowd when they're fully cocooned in their own world. I'll share pictures where the performer is visible though!

I wonder if these performers have a hard time. Surely it's easier for the punters to wander off without paying if you're literally restrained. I hope she got rewarded for what was a very funny show - and she escaped!
